MADISON, WI (WTAQ) – More than 555,000 families took advantage of the child tax credit before Monday’s deadline.
The rebate comes on the heels of a more than $8 billion dollar tax relief.
Those who claimed the credit will receive their money before the start of the next school year.
Everyone will be able to take advantage of a Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday from August 1 through August 5.
