TOWNSHIP OF EMMET, WI (WTAQ) – Dodge County deputies say a man was found dead at the scene after a two-car crash in the Township of Emmet Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2:30 the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the crash on the Highway 16 bypass near 2nd Street.
Only two people are involved in the crash. The other driver was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials say one of the drivers crossed the center line, causing the crash, and other factors of the crash are being investigated.
Highway 16 was closed for several hours while authorities investigated the crash.
