APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Appleton Police is looking for those responsible for spray painting graffiti throughout the city’s south side.
Sergeant Dave Lund says the letters ‘KOZ’ have shown up on several public and private properties this week.
Lund notes it’s inconveniencing many residents, since city ordinance states any graffiti needs to be gone within 48 hours.
“We need to go back to them and tell them they need to remove the graffiti from their property, even though they weren’t responsible for that.”
While much of the graffiti has been removed, some remains in the Woodland Park area.
