OCONTO FALLS, WI (WTAQ) – Oconto Falls police say a man has been arrested after trying to meet underage girls online for sex.
On February 15, 45-year-old Scott Arveson of Denmark was taken into custody after he went to Oconto Falls to meet with a 15-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl.
Authorities say Arveson contacted the girls through an ad on Craigslist.
Arveson is charged with child enticement, causing a child 12-18 to view sexual activity and use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime. He’s currently behind bars on a $50,000 cash bond.
