ONEIDA, WI (WTAQ) – One man has been taken into police custody following an armed standoff in Oneida.
Outagamie County sheriff’s officials were called to a house on Mullen Drive around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities said the man was armed and suicidal. A negotiator spoke with the man over the phone for a time.
No one was hurt.
Area schools were told to not send buses into the immediate area and neighbors were asked to stay inside during the standoff, which ended around 4 p.m.
