FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – One person suffered smoke inhalation after an overnight fire in Fond du Lac.
The fire broke out around 12:20 a.m. Monday on South Lincoln Street.
Officials say no one was home when the fire broke out but say someone tried getting into the house before firefighters got on scene.
That person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
The house was heavily damaged.
No word on what caused the fire.
