OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – The Winnebago County Sheriff’s office is investigating an armed robbery at the Fox Convenience Gas Station on Jackson Street in Oshkosh on Friday of last week.
Officials say the suspect entered through the front door, displayed a black handgun and demanded money.
The suspect was said to have left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The report indicates that the suspect pointed the gun at the clerk.
Investigators believe the suspect is driving a silver sedan and is a black male that was wearing a Dallas Cowboys winter hat with eyeholes cut out.
They say they believe he parked a vehicle away from the store and walked.
A robbery in Appleton the week before was done in a similar way. That robbery took place at the Grand Central Station on North Ballard Road on August 4.
Officials say it is unknown if the two were connected in any way.
