FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has made what they’re calling ‘significant’ firearm and drug arrests.
A deputy noticed the odor of marijuana during a traffic stop in the city of Fond du Lac around 4:05 p.m. on Sunday. The driver admitted he and others in the vehicle had been smoking marijuana earlier in the day.
A further search of the vehicle located five handguns, including one that was loaded, along with ammunition, over 50 grams of marijuana and THC products, drug paraphernalia, and several hundred dollars in cash.
All three men in the vehicle were taken into custody for a variety of drug and firearm related charges.
Further details of the incident are not being released at this time, as the defendants have not yet made an initial court appearance.
