MENASHA, WI (WTAQ) – A handful of charges have been recommended against the 32-year-old Appleton man suspected of crashing his car into a ten-year-old bicyclist.
Investigators say it happened around 5 pm Saturday on Menasha’s north side, near Geneva and London streets.
The driver reportedly fled the scene but was tracked down and arrested at a nearby apartment, where he was passed out.
His name has not been released.
Recommended charges include: Hit and Run Causing Injury, Causing Injury While Driving a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, Driving with a Revoked License, and Possession of Marijuana.
The boy received 17 stitches in his head and was released from the hospital.
