NEW LONDON, WI (WTAQ) – Three people are hospitalized following a New London crash.
It happened around 6 pm Thursday on Highway 45, just south of Highway 54.
Investigators believe a southbound vehicle was trying to pass another vehicle when it hit a northbound vehicle head-on.
The Marion woman driving the northbound vehicle suffered possible life-threatening injuries.
Her passenger, a 62-year-old Marion man, and the southbound driver, a 40-year-old Michigan man, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Following the crash, a stretch of the highway was shut down for roughly four hours. The investigation is ongoing.
