GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Green Bay Packers play against the Cleveland Browns at Lambeau Field Friday, August 12 in the first preseason game of the year.
That means traffic delays could be a possibility. Mark Kantola with the Wisconsin DOT says traffic will include a mix of game-goers and those headed home from work.
“We do expect with I-41 under construction, that I-41, 172, and I-43 could experience significant backups near the stadium.”
Kantola encourages people to have a pre-planned route before you take off, be patient, and give yourself plenty of time. He also suggests using the 511 website or app to check out further road issues.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety Captain Jody Crocker says there will be normal staffing around the stadium and parking restrictions are the same as in years past.
“The only thing we’re asking folks to remember now is that the K-Mart area is no longer available and it’s not even accessible. So keep in mind, that traffic patterns might be varied a little bit.”
