GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – With COVID-19 numbers declining, many people are now thinking about doing activities that they were not able to do before.
Spring break is on the horizon, and families are planning to venture out once again to enjoy nice weather and other places of the world.
Although, local doctors are warning people to be prepared before they travel.
“COVID numbers are starting to go down in our area, but there are other areas in our country and in other countries throughout the world where things may not be like they are here,” said Abby Smolcich, pediatrician with ThedaCare Pediatrics in Darboy.
“Being up to date with your COVID vaccination. That’s going to be your best protection against any infections while you’re out traveling.”
The doctor also notes that parents should always keep a close eye on kids.
