MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – Students were evacuated from Roncalli High School in Manitowoc after a bomb threat was called in on Wednesday.
An unknown party had contacted the Manitowoc Fire Department with the threat, which was immediately relayed to dispatch, and school administration. Around 11:35 a.m., police and detectives responded to the school and found administration had already begun clearing the school.
Once the school was empty, assistance was requested from Green Bay Police and Brown Co Sheriffs Department bomb sniffing K9 units. The school was then searched with, no unusual objects located.
The investigation continues and it is believed the suspect was not from the area.
