APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A former Hortonville administrator has been convicted of possessing child pornography.
Patrick Vaile pled no contest Thursday to one count, while the other 15 possession counts were dropped. The judge can consider those 15 counts at the sentencing, which will continue Tuesday morning.
According to the criminal complaint, investigators uncovered over 150 images of child porn on Vaile’s computer and a flash drive. Vaile admitted to authorities he viewed and saved images of nude children, typically between 12 and 16 years old.
Following his arrest, Vaile resigned from his position with the village of Hortonville.
