GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – It’s been a while since we’ve had heavy thunderstorms in Wisconsin — but that could change this weekend.
The National Weather Service says a few storms are possible in far northern Wisconsin Friday afternoon and Friday night, with a chance for gusty winds.
The rest of the state may not see anything until late Saturday and Saturday night.
The Weather Service says parts of western Wisconsin could see hail and damaging winds late Saturday and into Sunday.
There’s a lesser chance for severe weather in the eastern part of the state, but Metro Milwaukee expects two rounds of rain over the weekend.
Summerlike temperatures will continue well into next week, with highs generally in the 80s.
