NEW LONDON, WI (WTAQ) – A New London woman will get a chance to see Pope Francis when he celebrates a papal Mass in Washington, D.C. this month.
Camille Solberg is one of 500 Catholic University of America alumni selected to see the pope during his visit to the United States.
The pope will make a special visit to the university for a Mass canonizing the Spanish-American missionary Junipero Serra.
Solberg says she’s “very excited” about the trip and was praying for it.
Presented in Spanish, the Mass will be held at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on September 23rd.
