GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – It wasn’t pretty, but the Green Bay Packers survive three turnovers by quarterback Aaron Rodgers to hold off the St. Louis Rams 24-10 Sunday at Lambeau Field.
Rodgers threw his first interception at home, ending a streak of 587 consecutive throws without a pick. It came during the 1st quarter when Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis came up with the interception.
A-Rod finished the day 19-of-30 for 241 yards with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He also lost a fumble in the game.
Wide receivers Ty Montgomery and James Jones each caught TD passes.
The Packers (5-0) defense outplayed the offense for the second straight game. They intercepted Rams quarterback Nick Foles 4 times, including twice when St. Louis was in the red zone.
Running back Todd Gurley led the Rams (2-3) with 159 yards on 30 carries.
