OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Police in Oshkosh continue to investigate after a man was found shot in the head in a north side parking lot Wednesday morning.
Police say the 47-year-old Oshkosh man was found in a vehicle in a rear parking lot of a business in the 600 block of N. Main Street just after midnight. Authorities say a passerby noticed something wasn’t right.
“There was a passerby who saw the man in the vehicle,” Lt. Kevin Konrad told FOX 11. “Thought it looked unusual for that time of night and tried to get the guy’s attention. He wasn’t responding. So when he walked around the other side of the car, that’s when he noticed the blood on the side of his face.”
The victim was taken to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, but was eventually flown to University Hospital in Madison for treatment. Police did not give an update on his condition.
