APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – As the investigation into a home invasion/robbery continues, Appleton police are asking the public for additional information about the Wednesday afternoon crime.
It happened at a home in the 400 block of E. Lincoln Street around 1:15 p.m.
Police say a small group of people entered the home and used a handgun to rob the homeowner before leaving in a car.
During the altercation, the homeowner suffered a minor injury.
Investigators believe the crime is not random.
