NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Students and staff in the Neenah Joint School District will return to school Thursday after the district experienced an apparent cyberattack.
District officials announced Wednesday afternoon that the district’s phone and wireless systems, along with staff access to digital files, were restored.
The district was closed Tuesday and Wednesday after its technology systems went down early Monday morning. Law enforcement and cyber security experts were contacted to investigate.
Friday will remain a half day for grades K-12 and a day off for 4K. Schools will be closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
