The Green Bay Phoenix women stayed perfect in Horizon League play with a hard fought, 65-61 victory at Cleveland State Thursday night. The Phoenix led for nearly the entire game but never quite put the Lady Vikings away until the finish. Mehryn Kraker led four players in double figures with 14 points including a pair of free throws with 16 seconds left that gave Green Bay a five point lead. Mariah Monke and Sam Terry each scored 13 and Kaili Lukan finished with 12. It was Green Bay’s 5th straight victory and pushes them to 4-0 in Horizon League play, 14-3 overall. The Phoenix will play the second of a four game road swing in Detroit on Saturday afternoon.
