(WNFL)- In the Midwest League, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will open a home series against Clinton tonight near Appleton. The Rattlers are coming off a 6-3 loss to Quad Cities yesterday. Beloit dropped a pair to Cedar Rapids, 5-2 and 3-2 in nine innings. Double-header games in the Midwest League are normally seven innings. Beloit travels to Quad Cities tonight. The Snappers open the work week tied for fifth among eight teams in the Midwest League’s Western Division. Beloit is at 13-17. Wisconsin is the only club with less than ten victories and more than 20 losses just like its Milwaukee parent team was not too long ago.
