GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The city may purchase a snow tube conveyor lift system for the sledding hill at the Triangle Sports Area.
The Parks Committee will review the potential $156,340 purchase from Magic Carpet Lifts on Wednesday night.
According to the request for approval from city staff, the system would allow “for a more safer ride and enhance the customer’s experience” than the current lift, which has exceeded its lifespan.
Kewaunee’s Winter Park also uses a lift made by the same company, the memo states.
The Parks Committee meets at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
