(WNFL, Source Metro) – J.K. Dobbins ran for 163 yards and two touchdowns and Chase Young had four sacks as No. 3 Ohio State beat No. 13 Wisconsin, 38-7 in Columbus. The Buckeyes improved to 8-0, while the Badgers have now lost back-to-back games for the first time since October 1 and 15, 2016, when they lost to Michigan and Ohio State.
Wisconsin’s running game was limited at best against the Buckeyes, rushing for just 83 yards on 34 carries. Jonathana Taylor gained only 52 yards on 20 carries.
Ohio State, meanwhile, ran for 264 yards on 50 carries.
The Badgers’ passing game wasn’t much better with Jack Coan completing 10-of-17 passes for 108 yards.
OSU’s highly-regarded Justin Fields completed 12-of-22 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns.
Trailing 10-0 at halftime, the Badgers pulled within three on a touchdown pass from Coan to A.J. Taylor at 12:08 of the third period.
Ohio State then scored two touchdowns in a span of just a little over three minutes in the third quarter on a 10-yard run by Justin Fields and a nine-yard run by Dobbins.
The Buckeyes added touchdowns by Dobbins (14-yard run) and Fields (four-yard pass to Chris Olave) in the fourth quarter.
