ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) — They’re still trying to piece together what happened Thursday during a shooting that left two people dead in a garage in Ashwaubenon.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety Commander Brian Murphy says they’re still trying to figure out the nature of the relationship between Bryan Morales and Karissa Peronto, who were found dead after police heard two gunshots as they approached the Cedar Ridge apartment.
“We’re exploring that right now, we have some tentative information, but it wouldn’t be appropriate to share the full details of that at this time,” Murphy told WTAQ.
They haven’t said who, exactly, shot the two, and aren’t speculating as to any sort of motive.
“I don’t want to speculate until we have more substantial forensic evidence,” said Murphy.
Coworkers of Peronto had contacted police asking for them to check on her wellbeing.
An autopsy has been scheduled. Police say the public is not in any danger.
