GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One person was found dead and another was found badly injured in a home on Green Bay’s east side.
Officers responded to the 2200 block of Imperial Lane around 8:35 p.m. Thursday for a welfare check after reports of a disturbance.
Upon arrival, they found a 35-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound and a 55-year-old man dead. Police describe the situation as an attempted murder-suicide.
The woman is recovering in the hospital.
Police are continuing the investigation but do say the situation is isolated and the public is safe.
