KIMBERLY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A second Kimberly high school student has died as a result of last week’s motorcycle crash.
On Wednesday, the school district released a statement, confirming Peyton Schorer died from her injuries sustained in the crash.
Our sincere condolences go out to Peyton’s friends and family. A loss of life is always tragic and is especially so when that life is so young. We send our thoughts and prayers to the Schorer family during this difficult time.
Schorer was a passenger on a motorcycle that crashed in Combined Locks on Oct. 4.
The driver of the motorcycle, 17-year-old Anthony Douglas, a senior at the high school, died shortly after the crash.
Counselors has been and will continue to be available at the high school to offer support, the district says.
