MARINETTE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A new survey aims to find out where in Marinette County high-speed internet service is lacking.
County officials are working with New North, a business and economic development advocacy group, to administer the survey. Every home in the county should receive the survey in the mail in the next week.
“We need everyone to complete the survey, either online or on paper, so we can have an accurate depiction of the broadband service offerings and gaps in Marinette County,” Marinette County Development and Tourism director Jennifer Short said in a news release. “Obtaining direct feedback from household and businesses users is critical to the success of the survey.”
The 24-question survey should take about 15 minutes, county leaders say. Households with internet service can also perform a test to learn more about their internet speed.
The survey is open through Oct. 29.
