FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — On Wednesday, flags across Wisconsin will be flown at half-staff in honor of a Fond du Lac police officer who died in the line of duty.
Officer Joseph Kurer, 26, died last week as a result of complications from COVID-19 after contracting the virus on the job.
Gov. Evers announced executive order #134 will be in effect from sunrise to sunset. Wednesday is also the day of his funeral.
