GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Police in Green Bay are asking for the public’s help in investigating what they are calling a homicide after a body was discovered on the campus of UW-Green Bay.
This all started early Tuesday at around 12:30 AM with a fire call near the Cofrin Arboretum.
“UWGB put the fire out. At that time we located a deceased body.”
Green Bay Police Captain Ben Allen says the location is at the border between the city and the university campus.
Police have yet to identify the body. On Tuesday afternoon the decased was described as a light skinned male, 20-30’s, short dark hair with a trimmed beard. He was medium build and approximately six foot tall. The victim has not yet been identified and Green Bay Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the male.
They believe that the man was not killed at the location and was driven there from elsewhere.
Police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
