HOWARD, WI (WTAQ) – Brown County Sheriff’s Department reporting a group of Michigan men, accused of committing credit card fraud, were taken into custody at a Howard store.
Deputies were called to the Meijer store on Shawano Ave. Tuesday for a report of suspicious credit card activity.
Investigators say the four men used numerous financial cards to purchase gift cards. It was discovered the magnetic strip on the financial cards were cloned from stolen victim information.
It is also believed the men committed credit card fraud at the Meijer store in Sheboygan on Tuesday as well.
A search of the men’s rental vehicle with Florida license plates turned up additional cloned cards and a laptop computer.
All four men are being held in the Brown County Jail on identity theft and card crimes.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Dept. is identifying the men as:
Neno A. Fleming, 20Nolan A. Fleming, 18Mark A. Osborne, 18Malik C. Robinson, 21
Deputies say Neno also has an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Waukesha County for recent credit card fraud.
No formal charges have been filed against the men.
