MENOMINEE, MI (WTAQ) – Police in Menominee, Michigan arrested a 17-year-old boy for allegedly making a threat against a school in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
The Menominee Police Department said they responded to Blesch Intermediate School Wednesday morning.
The school was put on yellow alert and a shelter in place lockdown was initiated.
Law enforcement determined that the school was safe and secure and students, staff and public were never in imminent danger.
The school has students third through sixth grade.
Police believe that nobody else is involved.
