FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Two men were arrested following an overnight police chase on Interstate 41.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says just before 12:30 this morning, a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle for an equipment violation in the Town of Eldorado. Instead of stopping for the lights and siren, the vehicle sped off. After being chased for about five miles, the vehicle finally pulled over.
The driver, a 33-year-old Oshkosh man, was arrested for possession of meth, bail jumping and eluding officers. He is also being ticketed for speeding and operating after revocation.
The passenger, a 30-year-old Menasha man, is being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping.
No one was injured and no property was damaged during the chase.
