GREEN BAY (WTAQ-WLUK) – Four additional people have been charged and dozens of other suspects identified in connection with a series of burglaries at an empty Ledgeview home.
Surveillance cameras captured images of multiple people inside the home 14 different times from July 6 through August 16. Deputies say people in the surveillance video are seen removing property from the home, typically during the early evening or middle of the night.
Initially, one man – Seth Owens, 18 – was charged with three counts of burglary. He confessed, and police recovered multiple items stolen from the home in his bedroom.
On Nov. 8, the Brown County Sheriff’s Dept. said it had identified nearly two dozen suspects in the case.
As of Tuesday, four more adults have been charged:
Sydnee Wendlendt, 20, is charged with five counts of burglary, and two counts of theftBruce Nero, 18, is charged with two counts of burglary, and four counts of bailjumpingJustin Hamilton, 19, is charged with three counts of burglary, and one count of theftKayla Eagle, 19, is charged with six counts of burglary
The cases of 12 other adults and four juveniles are still being reviewed by prosecutors, according to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
