GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Police are trying to find the rightful owners of more than 600 items after a burglary suspect was arrested on Monday.
Patrick Lind, 30, appeared in Manitowoc County court on Tuesday, where a $2,500 cash bond was set. Police say he was arrested Monday afternoon during a burglary at a storage facility near Maribel. Lind had been sought in Grand Chute since Dec. 15, following a series of burglaries at All Seasons Storage, 1816 W. Northland Ave. Police say Lind was also spotted at two storage facilities in Plover last Friday.
Grand Chute investigators determined Lind regularly traveled throughout Wisconsin, visiting locations in Antigo, Appleton, Green Bay, Luxemburg, Madison, Manitowoc, Menasha, Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Plover, Schofield, Shawano, Sheboygan, Stevens Point and Wausau.
Grand Chute police are working with authorities in Kaukauna, Marathon County, Outagamie County, Portage County, Shawano County and Waupaca County, where there are open burglary investigations. A list of identified property is being made available to law enforcement agencies statewide so it can be compared with known burglaries.
People throughout the state are being asked to check storage unit facilities for damage to locks or evidence of burglaries. Those who suspect burglaries should contact local law enforcement.
Anyone with information about Lind’s involvement in criminal activity is asked to call Grand Chute police at (920) 832-1575.
Lind has not yet been formally charged anywhere in the state. He is due back in Manitowoc County court on Monday.
