GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — There is a fox on the west side of Green Bay. The Green Bay Police Department has shared images of the animal, which has been sighted by a number of residents over the past few weeks.
“It’s not normal for a fox to come into the city because it’s not its natural habitat,” Green Bay Police Commander Kevin Warych told WTAQ. “So our animal protection unit has been working with the DNR to track this Fox.”
Police are telling residents not to approach. The city’s Animal Control Unit is searching for the animal.
There are no reports of the fox harming humans or pets. Foxes typically feed on smaller animals, such as rabbits and poultry.
