KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ) – Kaukauna Police are identifying the victims in a suspicious death investigation as two juveniles, 5-year-old William Beyer and 3-year-old Danielle Beyer.
A post on Facebook Monday night reports they were both found “deceased with intentionally inflicted injuries.” The post continues on, saying no arrests have been made, and that this is “still an on-going investigation and no other information will be released at this time.”
Police say they were called to the home in the 1200 block of Crooks Avenue just after 7 a.m. on Monday. Officers found the two people inside with what police called “suspicious injuries.”
Police Chief Jamie Graff said someone in the unit called 911 this morning. He did not give further details on the 911 call.
Graff said residents were inside the unit when police arrived. He declined to specify whether it was the upper or lower unit of the building.
Police are still looking to piece together the series of events leading to the deaths. Graff said investigators are still looking to interview people in connection with the deaths.
The state crime lab and Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation have been called in to help in the investigation.
