GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – An office administrator allegedly used her employer’s business records to access customers’ credit card information, and then made purchases for her own benefit.
Kaitlyn Michaels, 32, made an initial court appearance Thursday, where a signature bond was set.
She returns to court Nov. 12 for a balance of initial appearance.
According to the criminal complaint, Michaels used a program called “Coolfront,” which tracked customer information and service calls. Michaels used the information from at least 29 customers to make purchases totaling about $1,928.
She also allegedly forged a signature on checks on the business account for personal use, resulting in a company loss of more than $1,000, the complaint states.
The business is not named.
There are no comments from Michaels cited in the complaint.
