GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — It’s “Good Neighbor Week.”
Green Bay Neighborhood Associations are working with NeighborWorks Green Bay to help out others.
Volunteers helped with repairing, cleaning, landscaping and planting around Admiral Court on the city’s west side.
Throughout the week, neighborhood leaders came up with projects for each area to help out neighbors.
“Just really glad that we’ve been able to pull together in spite of coronavirus to help out and to reinforce what Green Bay is really known for, and that’s a community that cares, that pulls together with others, especially in times of need,” Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich said.
Volunteer events continue through Sunday.
