GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — You can kiss summer goodbye at precisely 8:31 am tomorrow, the Fall Equinox.
The season will officially turn and with it, turns the weather, and it isn’t going to wait.
“We’re going to be in the upper 70s Tuesday and Wednesday this week, but next week Monday we might not get out of the 50s,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Scott Cultice.
That’s going to continue into October, where we’re expecting the traditional totally drop off in high temperatures that define Wisconsin Octobers. Highs in the 60s in early October will turn into highs in the 40s by the time the month is through.
This summer was warmer and drier than the previous summer. Average summer temperature was 70.7, about 3 degrees above normal.
