NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) – “The Plaza at Gateway Park” is a $4 million to $5 million project.
It is all being paid for with private money, led by John Bergstrom, and being gifted to the city.
The rink is expected to cost the city about $20,000 a year to operate.
The facility would convert into a community pavilion in the warmer months.

City leaders hope it will drive more people to downtown Neenah.
The plans received final approval at Wednesday night’s Neenah City Council meeting.
