GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – More than 1,000 employees of Lambeau Field and Miller Park have been furloughed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Delaware North, the catering company for both sports venues, said the pandemic has proved to be more devastating than anyone could have predicted.
In March, the company began placing a number of full-time and part-time employees on temporary layoffs.
Delaware North said this was intended to be for less than six months, but now it has been extended.
The company now says all 1,303 employees may not return to work within six months.
