GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — On Friday, the Green Bay Packers released three players just one week before they are on the clock in the second round of the NFL Draft.
TE McCallan Castles, CB Tyron Herring and LB Jamon Johnson were the three players in the transaction announced by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
Johnson played in two games for the Packers in Weeks 13 and 18, making his first career start in the latter at Minnesota. The other two players spent time on the practice squad in 2026.
