Yesterday, the Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee held a hearing that was billed as a look into ‘Attorney General William Barr’s politicization of the U.S. Department of Justice.’
The Democrat who chairs the committee, Jerry Nadler of New York, argued that two cases prove Barr has politicized the DOJ. Those cases are the Roger Stone case and the Michael Flynn case.
In the Stone case, the Barr Justice Department simply noted that it is unreasonable to send Stone to prison for 7-9 years, especially considering top Obama-era officials like John Brennan, Jim Clapper, and Hillary Clinton didn’t spend any time behind bars for committing the same crimes.
Barr simply advocated for all U.S. citizens, regardless of their politics, to be held to the same standard of justice, which is what we should all want in our country.
In the Flynn case, Barr called for the prosecution to stop since there remains zero evidence that Flynn committed any crime(s).
Even the Obama-era leftists who went after Flynn have admitted that they didn’t believe that Flynn committed a crime. Those leftist investigators even went into things with a plot to frame Flynn, but that didn’t materialize either.
And in the United States, if you haven’t committed any crimes, you are not to be criminally prosecuted. Hence, Barr’s stance in the Flynn case.
With all that being said, it’s not surprising that Jerry Nadler had zero factual substantiation for his anti-Barr claims.
What’s really rich is that during Nadler’s hearing that, again, was billed as an opposition to partisan politics in the U.S. intel agencies, it was exposed that one of Nadler’s star witnesses was himself a partisan actor.
John Elias had to admit that, during his time in the intel agencies, he sought to take part in the effort to meritlessly impeach President Trump. Of course, that impeachment effort lacked factual justification. Rather, it was entirely driven by leftist partisan hatred.
So much for Nadler’s claim that he’s opposed to partisan politics in the intel agencies.
In spite of how poorly the hearing went for his phony narrative, Nadler still insinuated yesterday that Barr could be impeached.
We’re starting to see a pattern here. First, Capitol Hill Democrats meritlessly impeached President Trump. Now, they’re talking about meritlessly impeaching AG Barr.
It seems that Congressional Democrats are interested in impeaching any person who has not committed any impeachable offense but stands in the way of their leftist desires to totally destroy this country for their own gain.
All Americans, regardless of past political affiliation, who want this nation of ours to have a legitimate and prosperous future must oppose what’s being done by these Democrat elites.
