(GREEN BAY ATHLETICS) GREEN BAY – Green Bay and St. Thomas (MN) played to a 1-1 draw Thursday (Aug. 27) at home at Aldo Santaga Stadium.
Green Bay moved to 3-0-2 on the season after the tie.
How it Happened
St. Thomas (MN) took a 1-0 lead when Izzy Mcewan scored in the 65th minute.
The Phoenix responded to tie things up on a goal from Ryann Hafenbrak — her first goal of the season — in the 70th minute, assisted by Aixa Helbringer-Escobar. The goal finished off the scoring in the game.
