(MARQUETTE COMMUNICATIONS) – The Marquette University men’s basketball team picked up its second win of its summer tour in Vancouver with an 89-59 victory over Trinity Western on Thursday night.
The travel party will make stops in Vancouver and Whistler during the eight-day journey, playing a trio of games against Calgary (July 29), Trinity Western (July 30) and Fraser Valley (August 1).
Live statistics and highlights of the games, along with behind-the-scenes access to the trip, will be provided via the team’s official social media accounts.
Marquette’s last foreign trip came in the summer of 2023 when the program visited Italy. A recent change in NCAA rules allows teams the opportunity to embark on a tour every year, rather than the previous cadence of every four seasons.
The Golden Eagles last visited Vancouver for a foreign tour in September of 2007.
