(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – The Brewers lost a slug fest to the San Francisco Giants 12-9 at American Family Field in Milwaukee Thursday afternoon.
Jackson Chourio was three-for-four with two home runs and four RBIs in the setback.
Coleman Crow surrendered six runs in two-and-a-third innings, getting the loss.
Crow said that he needs to execute better with 2 strikes on a batter.
He talked about what he can take away from his start.
In discussing the loss, Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that every season will give you the full catastophe including in this case losing pitchers Grant Anderson and DL Hall to injury.
Murphy talked about the injuries.
The Brewers will be on the road tonight to begin a series with the Colorado Rockies.
Brandon Sproat who is 1-4 with a 6.24 ERA will start for the Brewers. The Rockers will counter with Ryan Feltner who is 2-1 with a 4.85 ERA.
