(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers secured a series win with a 5-2 win over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on Tuesday night.
Brice Turang led the attack, going three-for-four with a home run and two RBI.
Jacob Misiorowski struck out eight batters over six shutout innings to get the win and Abner Uribe locked down his fifth save.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that it was another elite outing for Misiorowski.
Misiorowski said that he loves the Cubs/Brewers rivalry.
Misiorowski said that after 6 innings, he was gassed.
The teams will wrap up their series today.
Kyle Harrison who is 4-1 with a 2.09 ERA will start for the Brewers.
The Cubs will counter with Edward Cabrera who is 3-1 with a 4.06 ERA.
