(LEARFIELD) – An early lead didn’t last long as the Milwaukee Brewers dropped a 6-2 decision to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Diamondback relievers set down the last 13 batters.
Milwaukee jumped out on top 2-0 but gave up the lead in a four-run fourth inning for the visitors.
Rookie Brandon Sproat absorbed his second loss.
Sproat gave up 4 runs in 4 1/3 innings and talked about the home run ball he gave up to Nolan Arenado.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Arenado’s impact on the game.
