VILLAGE OF SHERWOOD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A business in the village of Sherwood caught fire Monday, but no one was injured.
Harrison Fire-Rescue was dispatched shortly after 10 a.m. to a business on Robinhood Drive. Initial dispatch indicated the building was filling with smoke and additional resources were requested.
The first unit to arrive on scene observed smoke discharging from multiple openings. Crews confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated.
“Firefighters encountered dense smoke conditions in both the upper and lower levels of the structure. Using thermal imaging cameras, crews located the fire and extinguished it. They then conducted an extensive overhaul to check for any fire extension and successfully extinguished the remaining hot spots,” a news release states.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
